Weaving the Liminal: Creating Constellations

These gems lit up my sky this past week:

• Seeing the waxing Leo moon wink at Venus.

• Watching the World Cup on an iPad while a boombox turned the sidewalk into a stadium.

• Hearing utter joy and excitement as someone kissed my business card.

• Showered in pink dried rose petals as I sat on a park bench with a friend.

• Feeling the warmth of sun-kissed skin pressed against my body as my friend read Japanese death poems to me.

• Sharing a tortilla soaked in jalapeño butter.

• Cleaning salty tears off sunglasses.
